Our Story
A passion for conservation, a deep love for animals and hunting, and a desire for the adventure that the bush provides were the driving forces behind the fulfillment of a young boy’s dream to own his very own safari company. Born in the heart of South Africa and raised as the son of a taxidermist, Dillan Human, the proud owner of Safari Africa Hunting Safaris, was steeped in the world of wildlife, conservation, and hunting from his earliest days.
Dillan’s upbringing gifted him with exceptional wildlife knowledge and a firm appreciation for the ethics and practices that underpin responsible hunting and wildlife preservation. It was from this foundation that Safari Africa Hunting Safaris was born.
Safari Africa Hunting Safaris offers both plains game and dangerous game hunting safaris across the entire South Africa, depending on the hunters’ needs, as well as neighbouring countries for specialized species. Dillan Human
Owner, Outfitter and Professional Hunter
The heart and soul of Safari Africa Hunting Safaris. Beyond being a professional hunter, Dillan is a welcoming host, dedicated to creating unforgettable memories with his clients and forging lasting friendships along the way. He is not just known as a professional hunter but also as a professional entertainer. The sound of his infectious laughter can be heard echoing throughout the camp, creating an atmosphere of lighthearted fun and togetherness during your entire trip.

lucky
Our main Tracker, Skinner and Conservationist
Lucky grew up in a reserve near the Fish River. His early years in the reserve provided him with a unique and hands-on education in the complexities of the wild. This experience allowed him to immerse himself in diverse ecosystems, getting to know the behaviors and habits of various animals. His intimate connection with nature has made him a true master when it comes to tracking wildlife.
He is talented in the field and is also known among some of our clients as a better tracker than our own tracking dog.
Zed
Tracker and Skinner
Zed grew up in the same reserve as Lucky. He is exceptionally energetic and has a great sense of humour, often entertaining the clients while hunting.
He is a remarkably talented tracker, and knows the environment well.
Zed previously worked in our family Taxidermy and is known for skinning with precision.
Bullet
Tracker Dog
Despite his size, Bullet has proven to be an invaluable addition to our team. His exceptional tracking abilities have led to the successful recovery of countless wounded animals for our clients.
In a hunting operation, a good tracking dog is an essential element, and Bullet fits the bill perfectly. His determination and skill make him a vital asset for our team.
